Meet the Kenyan People
Kenya is a melting port of culture, with more than 42 different tribes with distinct languages and several dialects, each ethnic group has a diverse and contrasting way of life. We feel blessed to be among the last generations to have the opportunity to experience the vanishing cultures of East Africa and would be honored to share this with you.
The rich culture, heritage, diversity of the people of Kenya is expressed through song, dance, art and handicraft which are truly unique and embodies all the enchantment of exotic Africa. It’s such a thrilling and unforgettable experience to listen to the music or to watch various festivals and ceremonies of any of the ethnic groups.
The rich cultural heritage and diversity can be experienced through visiting the people in their ‘bomas’ (homesteads) and hence coming into reality with their traditions and beliefs. Our aim is to immerse you in the daily lives of some of East Africa’s proudest tribes, still defying the modern world and adhering to the customs and colorful ceremonies of their ancestors.
